Important Documents You Need to Carry Along With MAT Admit Card...!



MAT Admit card is issued by All India Management Association (AIMA). Candidates who have successfully submitted MAT Application Form are eligible to download the document from the official website. To ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of MAT, AIMA has asked candidates to bring several documents at exam centre of MAT exam for verification purposes. These documents will help in verifying the identity of applicants and approve their candidature in MAT.

The MAT Admit Card will be released on August 26, 2017. MAT Exam will be conducted on September 3 and 9, 2017. Though the process of MAT is simple and clear, candidates are still confused about a lot of things regarding MAT Registration. One of the most asked queries is about the documents to be carried at MAT Exam Center.

The list of documents are as follows:

MAT Admit Card

MAT Admit Card is an important document which is released by AIMA to candidates who have successfully registered for MAT. The Admit Card of MAT is released at MAT’s official i.e. www.aima.in.The Admit Card is a mandatory document that must be carried at all the stages including exam day, AIQ (All India Quota) & State Counseling and on the day of Admission at various institutes.

Aadhar Card (UID)

Candidates are required to present their Aadhar Card at MAT Exam Centres. The main purpose of Aadhar Card is to support the details already present in MAT 2017 Admit card. Aadhar Number is a twelve digit unique number issued to Indian Citizens on the basis of their biometric and demographic data.

Passport Size Photograph

Along with MAT Admit Card and Aadhar card Number, candidates are also required to carry multiple passport size photographs to the exam center. The Photographs must be same as used in MAT Application Form.

The purpose behind photographs at exam center helps in the documentation process. Authorities maintain an attendance sheet for appeared candidates and require candidates’ photograph for the same. This is done to ensure clarity and transparency in the process.

What not to bring at the Exam Centre?

The conducting body also restricts entry of several other documents/things inside the test venue. Here is the list of things/objects you are not allowed to take inside MAT Exam Centre.

Electronic Devices

Electronic Devices including mobile phone, calculators, calculator watches and other such electronic devices are banned inside the MAT Exam Centres and should not be carried along.

Rough Paper

Candidates are provided with sheets for rough work and hence AIMA does not allow any type of paper inside MAT Test venue.

Wallets

In addition to electronic devices and rough papers, candidates are also not allowed to carry their wallets inside the test venue. The test venue does not guarantee the safety of their wallets if handed over and thus candidates should make proper preparations prior to MAT 2017 Exam.

The MAT aspirants must be preparing hard for the upcoming exam and gearing up their preparation. However, candidates should follow these guidelines on the test day. These guidelines ensure smooth conduct of the examination without any hindrances candidates’ preparation by any inch.

  • Reach the test venue 90 minutes prior to the exam. Check the seating arrangement and note down your room number.
  • The Candidates will not be allowed to leave the test venue before the conclusion of the exam. Hence, candidates are advised to stay put and solve the problems calmly.
  • Bring your own stationery and avoid the possibility of anxiety at the test center during last minutes.

Leading management colleges across India (except IIMs), will accept MAT Scores for MBA/PGDM Admission 2017-18.

Accepted by number of management seats in India, MAT is expected to cater more than 700,000 management aspirants. With the limited number of management Seats and such a huge number of aspirants, the chances of success in MAT would be less than 7%.
